Working with Ranchers and Other Landowners to Keep Wildlife Moving Across Important Lands

Although only a small proportion of the Y2Y region consists of private lands, they often occur in valuable valley-bottom habitats between core reserves.

Using tools like conservation easements, we work with partner land trusts to compensate willing ranchers and other landowners to forgo further development in these areas so wildlife can use and move across their land. Click here to learn more.
